So, who are we looking for?

  • You will have experience in the property sector, and will proactively strive to meet clients’ needs.
  • You will have excellent communication skills and have the drive to establish excellent rapport with our clients & customers.
  • You will ideally hold a completed ARLA or equivalent qualification.
  • As a diligent and well-organised person, you will be able to thrive in a varied, fast-paced environment and can adapt to meet business needs.
  • Are you a well-presented professional with fantastic written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively use MS packages as well as a range of internal systems?

And what will you be doing?

As a Property Manager within our lettings function at Centrick, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of clients, ensuring that the best possible service is provided.

No two days are the same but the below gives you a flavour of some of the tasks you’d typically be involved with.

  • Overseeing the entire tenancy process, you’ll gather tenant references, negotiate and produce contracts and handle checkout bookings. You’ll also process move-out reports, deposits, invoices, payments and paperwork.
  • Ensuring properties comply with all safety regulations, you’ll organise inspections and arrange any necessary improvement works.
  • Oversee reactive and proactive maintenance during tenancies; communicate with landlords and tenants and process contractor invoices for payment.
  • You will manage, monitor and assess inventories, and post-move-in records, update the CRM database and handle all aspects of TDS disputes and Nil Deposit claims.
The role will be based at the head office in Birmingham city centre; working 9 am to 5.30 pm, Monday to Friday.
