Job Title: Associate Coordinator / Team Leader – Property Management
Location: Islington, will be required to travel to other branches to support as and when needed. (Hybrid working after settling in period)
Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours
Competitive Salary: £28,000 + 5% Commission
We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our property management team. As the Team Leader, you will oversee a group of office coordinators responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of our property management office. You will be responsible for coordinating daily tasks, managing workflows, and providing guidance to ensure the team's success in delivering exceptional administrative support. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of office coordinators, ensuring their productivity, motivation, and professional development
- Establish and enforce office policies, procedures, and best practices to optimise efficiency and accuracy in administrative operations
- Coordinate and prioritise daily tasks, assignments, and workflows for the office coordinators to ensure timely completion
- Monitor and review work quality to ensure compliance with company standards and property management regulations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated issues and inquiries from office coordinators, providing guidance, problem-solving, and resolution
- Collaborate with other departments, such as property managers, lettings agents, and maintenance teams, to ensure effective communication and coordination of tasks
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide regular feedback to team members, addressing areas for improvement and recognising exceptional performance
- Develop and implement training programs and materials to enhance the skills and knowledge of office coordinators
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technology advancements related to property management administrative functions
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and a customer-centric approach.
- On-boarding new contractors
- Arranging trialling of new contractors and regular feedback to all parties during trial period
- Point of contact for core contractors and providing regular feedback to core contractors via meetings
Requirements:
- Proven experience 3 in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in a related industry.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with team members and stakeholders
- Proficient in using office productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office suite, property management software)
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and inspire a team
