Job description
We are looking for a part time Accountant to maintain and analyse company accounting records, prepare budgeting and forecasting information and provide timely and accurate financial reports to senior management to aid decision making, minimize business risk and protect profits.
· Prior experience in Property Management accounting
· Bank reconciliations
· Bank transfers
· Preparation and submission of VAT returns
· Submission of payroll information
· Preparation of year end reports
· Review and credit control debtors
· Familiarity with block management, service charges, and landlord/tenant roles
· Experience in monitoring monthly expenditures against service charge budget and landlord costs budget
· Understanding of landlord and tenant utilities billing
· Updating and maintaining ledgers for each property in our portfolio
· Experience of detailed quarterly reporting
This is a part time role with flexible working hours.
We are looking for someone to start working 1 day a week for at least 3-6 months, then we will review and increase/decrease based on work load.
We will pay a good day rate (based on the experience).
