Assist Security are looking for exceptional security professionals with excellent customer service and immaculate presentation to work at London’s most prestigious 5-star hotel. The hotel is located in the heart of London next to Hyde Park Corner.
Assist Security are currently recruiting for the front of house security positions within the hotel. We are therefore interested in hearing from people with a background in customer services, front of house/reception and security. Given the nature of a hotel we are particularly keen to hear from people who are bilingual. You must have the ability and be willing to adapt to an evolving working environment.
Pay Rate:
£13.00 an hour PAYE
Shift Pattern:
4 on 4 off.
Flexible to work day and night shifts.
Day shift times - 06:45 - 18:45
Night shift times - 18:45 - 06:45
Minimum Requirements:
- 1 years’ experience working within a 5* Hotel or Luxury industries.
- A valid SIA licence. (Door Supervisor)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be responsive to the client’s needs and work in partnership with the client and other suppliers to support the delivery of the services
- Must be able to work under pressure, be able to make decisive decisions during incidents and difficult situations
- Strong knowledge of site processes and procedures

Preferred Requirements:
- Proven experience in Front of House/customer service or relevant role is an advantage.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Monitor and control building entrances
- Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations.
- Patrol the hotel on a regular basis recording any maintenance / fire checks around the building
- Assist guests with room access.
- Respond to accidents and assist guests / employees during emergency situations / evacuations
- Defuse guests’ disturbances and escort them off the property if necessary.
- May be required to monitor security feeds and conduct daily / physical hazard inspections.
- Maintaining systems that monitor contractors working in and around the hotel according to the company health and safety policies.
- Maintaining systems that record the issues and receipts of departmental keys, items loaned out to members of staff.
- Maintain the security logbook and incident reports.
- Monitoring suspicious behaviours / packages and be aware of bomb and terror threat procedures.
- Ensure hotel facilities and function rooms remain secured and locked when not in use.
- Conduct investigations, gather evidence, bag searched following a report of misconduct, discrepancies, or violations immediately.
- Assist staff investigating and report of any allegations of theft, criminal damage, and other incidents to supervisor at the hotel and to your operations manager.
- Complete required shift reports and maintain confidentiality of all loss prevention documents.
