Role: Property Coordinator
Salary: £23,000 – £25,000 per annum
Location: Sheffield
Our client is a student accommodation lettings and management company, specialising in luxury boutique style properties around the Sheffield central area.
The role:
As a Property Co-Ordinator you will be responsible for the smooth operation and daily running of all properties within our portfolio. The daily responsibilities will include, organising and conducting viewings, tenant management, responding to maintenance requests, general office administration and ensuring we remain compliant with current legislation. This is a very varied role, and no two days are the same. This varied role would suit someone who is able to work in a fast-paced and results-driven environment.
Our client is looking for a confident and enthusiastic person to join their team. You will be main point of contact representing the business to their customers.
The ideal candidate will be a responsible self-starter who can help support day-to-day operations, achieving deadlines and targets. You should have a passion for delivering quality service to our tenants, ensuring that repairs and maintenance work are carried out as and when requested.
You’ll report to the Head of Property Management.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage inbound and outbound calls and emails to tenants, contractors and third parties
- Organise maintenance repairs, liaise with tenants, and oversee contractors
- Oversee property adverts including proactive marketing
- Conducting viewings and carrying out inspections
- Negotiate offers and agreeing on new tenancies, tenancy management and tenant changeover
- Identify opportunities to generate new business, this could be done by networking on social media or other channels
- Adhere to all lettings legislation and all safety compliance requirements at all times and keep up-to-date with industry news and legislation
- Keep on top and maintain general office administration and duties. Emails, lettings and filing
- Manage the Utilities and bills of rental properties
- As part of a small team, you will also be involved in other areas of the business as required, and whilst the role is office based, you will be required to visit properties to look at maintenance issues as well as attend site meetings with tenants, contractors etc.
- Ensure compliance with company and external policies.

This role includes responding to contact out of hours where required. This may include but is not limited to:
- Responding to viewing requests/enquiries to give potential tenants the best possible service, and to increase the chance of successful lets.
- For any emergencies or important maintenance queries.
The successful candidate:
- Have previous Property and Letting Management or customer service experience within the property sector
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Be highly organised with acute attention to detail
- Be a quick learner and follow procedures
- Have previous customer service experience
- Have the ability to work within a team and independently where required
- Be a strong problem solver
- Experience with Microsoft Office software
- The ability to provide exceptional customer service, always displaying a helpful and patient attitude
- Experience in prioritising workload to meet competing deadlines without close supervision
Essential Requirements:
- Current Driving Licence and access to own vehicle
