Job Brief

We are looking for multi skilled individuals to perform all tasks related to prop building with a focus on carpentry to Join us at our new site in Dundee.

Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid knowledge of basic carpentry.

Responsibilities

• As a Prop Builder your responsible for constructing props from scratch using a range of build techniques both on site and in the workshop
• Apply a range of skills to ensure each game is of the highest quality and delivered on time and within budget
• Collaborate with prop builders and scenic artists
• Report to line manager for issues

Requirements and skills

• Experience using hand and power tools
• Problem solving mind set
• Self-motivated
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical stamina and dexterity

Prop Builders are an integral part of the business. Our prop builders turn empty rooms into interactive works of are allowing our customers to enjoy truly immersive experiences.

What makes a great Prop Builder?

Reliability and an eye for detail. Able to work alone and self-motivate as well as merge seamlessly into a larger team. Time management is also key. High quality of work while always thinking about the end user. Awareness of safety in regard to the props constructed and ensuring the correct methods are used.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £12.00 per hour

Job Type: Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months

Salary: £12.00-£15.00 per hour
