Dr François Nel, a Reader in Media Innovation & Entrepreneurship associated with the Media Innovation Studio group at UCLan, is looking for a Project Co-Ordinator / Programme Officer for the group’s wide range of research, teaching, and knowledge exchange activities.
To support the project lead and team delivering our flagship part-time, blended-learning postgraduate Journalism Innovation and Leadership Programme (JILeaders) aimed at news professionals worldwide, and the News Futures 2035 (NF2035) project, which is a participatory industry foresight study supported by the Google News Initiative.
The successful candidate will have a range of GCSEs, including English Language and Maths at Grade C or above, or appropriate equivalent experiential learning and a word processing/typing/IT qualification or demonstrable equivalent experiential learning.
We offer flexible working options that would typically include a minimum of one day a week in our office in Preston in addition to periodic events, conferences and three week-long intensive study blocks each year. There may be the option of occasional national and international travel.
