Facilities Manager
Location: Bexley, Kent

Contract: Permanent, full time, Commercial van Provided
Kier Places are recruiting now for a Facilities Manager to join our FM team Bexley, Kent. The contract consists of two large secondary schools assisting Kier in delivering an effective Facilities Management service, where you’ll take responsibility for ensuring the effective delivery of both hard and soft services in accordance with contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities
As a trusted Facilities Manager, you’ll manage and maintain excellent levels of service for planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance requirements at the school - driving team performance, managing key stakeholders, and ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety policy.
You’ll act as a first point of contact for authority staff; meet, induct & supervise subcontractors; updating Concept CAFM & Power BI as necessary; and provide general administration support to the contract (i.e. report preparation/information gathering etc.) in order to meet both contract obligations and client expectations.
What do we need from you?
To be a Facilities Manager with Kier, you’ll need to be a highly effective team manager, with sound PFI expertise and experience within the facilities management industry – you’ll be energetic, punctual, proactive, and reliable, with the ability to lead, guide, and motivate others towards goals.
