Hope House Children’s Hospices have an opportunity for a Project Officer to join our team, hybrid with workbase in Oswestry. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis (Part time hours will be considered). In return, our Project Officer will receive a competitive salary of £27,179 - £32,307 per annum.

About the Project Officer role:
We are seeking a Project Officer who wants to use their enthusiasm and integrity to help Hope House support every child and family that needs us. You will provide effective support to our Digital Transformation Programme as well as other projects as and when required, ensuring staff and service users have a great experience, supporting new technologies, and maximising the impact of new ways of working. Your customer service, approachability and flexibility will be at least as important to your success as your knowledge and skills.
The role will be hybrid with an office base of Hope House near Oswestry, our hyrbid staff have the flexibility to work from the office and from home, eventhough our hybrid staff don’t have a permanent desk, they have access to hot desks, to enable collaborative working we expect our Project Officer to be office based a minimum of 2 days per week.
You will be flexible in your approach to working hours and times and be willing to travel across Shropshire, Cheshire and North Wales providing project support as required.
We are looking for a Project Officer who:
- Ability to offer project support and some leadership to multiple Digital Transformation Programme projects being delivered simultaneously;
- Service excellence, with the motivation to help staff and service users;
- Ability to provide and maintain effective project documentation;
- Excellent communication skills, explaining technology led projects to non-technical users;
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to build respectful working relationships;
- Analytical skills to investigate problems and provide effective solutions;
- Planning and organising to effectively prioritise and complete tasks to required deadlines
