Job description
About The Role
Do you have a passion for project management and the environment? APEM Ltd is seeking two Project Managers to join our Marine Wildlife Survey (MWS) division, who carry innovative and industry recognised work surveying the world around us. As a dual-reporting member of our PMO and MWS, you'll be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
You'll be responsible for managing and delivering a range of projects, working with internal and external clients, and identifying opportunities for new business. Working as a trusted member of a multi-disciplinary team you will instill best practice. Providing project management training and support. Ensuring that each project is financially well managed is a core part of this role. Experience of allocating costs, providing financial reports, budgeting and forecasting and some modelling experience is required.
We're looking for someone with a professional Project Management Qualification, with client facing project experience. Our project environment is consultancy based and thus different to traditional projects such as IT project delivery. We need people who can be client centric, flexible and adaptable. This isn't a role that would suit someone who is process management focused.
This role can be carried out remotely (within the UK). Our MWS division is centred at our office in Chester, and you may need to attend meetings and work collaboratively in Chester, on occasion.
At APEM, we value integrity, quality, people, forward thinking, positivity, and fairness. As a team, we strive to create a flexible and understanding working environment that promotes balance and growth. We welcome diversity and embrace the unique perspectives of our employees. Join our team and make a real impact in the environmental industry.
