Job description

This is a senior level, customer-facing, and highly challenging project management appointment.

The organisation is a successful pan-European managed 4G/5G mobile telecoms services provider working as a SWC, small works contractor on telecoms projects nationwide with major operators including EE, Vodafone, Three, and vendors like Ericsson and Nokia.

Your expertise in building relationships with clients and aligning subcontractors to the quality and service expectations of customers is a crucial deliverable of this role.

Therefore, demonstrable experience managing these types of relationships and affecting these sorts of outcomes is essential.

You will have at least 5 years+ experience in a customer-facing, budget managing capacity, delivering 3G, 4G, 5G mobile telecoms network rollouts.

You MUST possess a broad and competent knowledge and understanding of the various site solutions, emerging technologies, and passive/active infrastructures as part of mobile wireless telecommunication network rollouts.

Academically, an engineering or telecommunications orientated degree, project management certifications i.e. Prince 2, PMP, Dip required, or compelling commercial experience. A Master’s degree is very appealing.

Tasks also include:

  • End-to-end project delivery.
  • Initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closing of project.
  • Budget, profitability, and costs.
  • Process monitoring and improvements.
  • H&S and working in collaboration with SHEQ.
  • Project reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Liaise with clients on site designs, technical requirements, budget reforms.
  • Commercial requirements preparation of quotations, request GRNs, payments.
