The Programme
As part of the Technology Graduate programme, you will join a structured and well-developed 12-month, non-rotational scheme within TruNarrative, part of our Risk Solutions business (
www.trunarrative.com
). The TruNarrative team has a clear mission to make safe commerce simple by helping protect businesses and consumers across multiple sectors from the threat of Fraud and Financial Crime.

The Role
You will be part of the Leeds based development team. The goal of the programme is to develop your knowledge and technical skills so that you are able to contribute to real feature development as part of our agile software development teams. You will also gain valuable business insight that will help you develop into a well-rounded development team member. We will introduce you into a development team’s processes and prepare you to become a regular contributor as part of the team delivering exciting features to market.

We are keen to welcome applications from candidates who have a passion for developing site reliability/DevOps skills in AWS. As we continue to grow as a business, so too does out need to deploy features and solutions within cloud environments.

Training & Development
You will receive a blend of technical and people skills development. This is important as it’s not just what you do, but how you do it that is important to us.
Initially you will be immersed into an intensive, but rewarding, 2–3-week induction bootcamp and will be part of a wider graduate community with frequent socials including charity days and diversity and inclusion events. We work to a 70/20/10 learning model with 70% of your learning on the job, 20% informal learning and 10% from formal educational learning.

  • A Passionate collaborator with a focus on what is best for the team
  • Foundational/basic Java development skills
  • Understanding of agile development concepts
  • Strong communicator who can flex their communication style for different audiences
  • Studying STEM (All Sciences, Technology, Economics or Maths) degree. Computer Science or technical related degree desirable.
  • Interest in software configuration and deployment methodologies (e.g. DevOps/ SRE)
