Outpatient Behavioral Health cares for patients with a variety of mental health issues including but not limited to thought, mood, PTSD, self-harm and addiction. Practicing within the recovery model the outpatient Registered Nurse provides supportive care to veterans at various stages of their mental illness.
Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Conditions of Employment:
-Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration
-United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
-English Language Proficiency. In accordance with 38 U.S.C. 7402(d), no person shall serve in direct patient care positions unless they are proficient in basic written and spoken English.
-Graduate of a school of professional nursing
-You may be required to serve a probationary period.
-Subject to background/security investigation.
-Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program is a requirement for all Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care Personnel (HCP).
-Participation in the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccination program is a requirement for all Veterans Health Administration Health Care Personnel (HCP)
