An exciting opportunity has arisen to be a Project Manager responsible for the regeneration of the Raynesway Nuclear Licenced Site Facilities. Rolls-Royce Submarines is in a period of significant growth and is looking for a talented project professional to join an established, long term nuclear infrastructure programme.
This role will have the accountability for the safe delivery of one of the nuclear infrastructure regeneration projects safely to quality, cost, and time. In this leadership role you will be responsible for leading, managing and developing multidisciplinary teams, contractors as well as internal and external stakeholders.The project entails customer requirements capture, optimum option selection, engineered solution development, construction, commissioning, and safety case development in support of construction of the highly complex and novel nuclear manufacture facility on nuclear license site

What you will be doing:
You will identify and acquire the means to achieve project requirements.
- Lead integration across all workstreams and organisational boundaries to deliver project objectives.
- Lead project including initial set up, recruitment, developing and evaluating team performance where appropriate.
- Monitor, control and manage the overall project performance to address deviations from plan in line with company standard processes.
- Influencing and management of key internal and external project stakeholders.
- Identification, development, and implementation of Project Management processes / tools where appropriate.
- Ability to make decisions based on limited information.
- Promotion of the culture and nuclear professionalism of project management throughout the business.

- Youa are qualified to at least degree level or equivalent industry experience.
- Member of a professional body and working towards ChPP (Chartered Project Professional) qualification or equivalent.
- You have experience in all stages of a project lifecycle and has been responsible for the delivery in accordance with gated governance process.
- You have strong planning and organizing skills to manage short-, medium- and long-term activities and deliverables.
- You have a good understanding of the estimating and budgeting process.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with senior management.
- You are an experienced, respected, and trusted leader, capable of leading and motivating direct and indirectly managed multi-functional team, planning, and prioritizing their work.
- You are an advocate for the business change projects, and Project Management improvement.
- You preferably worked as part of Client’s Organization.
- You preferably have done delivery of nuclear related projects /programmes in accordance with LC conditions
.
Appreciation of the safety case development process.
Familiar and delivered projects in accordance with NEC contract.

To work for the Rolls-Royce Submarines Business an individual has to hold Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if the individual does not currently already have this in place.
Due to the nature of work the Business conducts and the protection of certain assets a person has to be a UK national or in MoD approved cases a Dual National from a non ITAR country.
