Available Job Today We have an exciting opportunity available for a London Key Account Manager to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time contract working 37.5 hours per week, Monday- Friday.
This role is to join Ten Locks, a sister company to Kingsland Drinks focusing on premium drinks brands with a focus on spirits. Ten Locks launched during lockdown and are going from strength to strength amongst the on and off trade growing our portfolio of brands that are striving for positive change.
This role will be responsible for London On Trade Key accounts representing the premium Ten Locks portfolio, this is a start-up business and we are looking for entrepreneurial, driven individuals and there will be many opportunities for progression as the business grows including the potential of managing a team in the future.

The Role:
The Key Account Manager will be tasked with representing the Ten Locks portfolio in the South of England, promoting the company and its brands at every opportunity. This is a once in a lifetime chance to be involved in a new business that is building its reputation from the ground level, up.
The Key Account Manager will dedicate their time to maximising the potential offered by new and exciting drinks trends, as customers become more sophisticated in their choices and knowledge. This person will build upon this momentum to provide ongoing profitability in the drink’s arena. Future role responsibilities could include recruitment and management as the business grows and more candidates are recruited.
Key responsibilities as our Key Account Manager will include:
- Building awareness of the Ten Locks brands and sales growth in each given territory. To represent Ten Lock’s entire portfolio in the South (focusing on central London) and to promote the company, its values and its brands at every opportunity whilst always projecting a smart and professional image.
- To work with all national and regional wholesalers to gain new listing and leads in the Southern area. Complete quarterly training sessions for their teams to help engage them on the brands
- Execute and launch events, tastings and trainings in the Southern area building each brands reputation. Complete a minimum of 1 on premise training sessions a month on Ten Locks brands. To execute initiatives to generate brand visibility and awareness and increase ROS. To execute and deliver training and initiatives on the Ten Locks brands and products
- Responsible for sales growth in the Southern On trade focusing on regional groups and key influencers to drive volume and value. Opening new territories and saturating key built up areas and looking for new areas of growth and resources to invest in. Opening new accounts in the area and signing customers into volume agreements and growing advocacy. Growing each account year on year.
- Opening a number of new retail accounts. Gaining new listings on portfolio brands. Sales growth in each account. Volume increases on all brands listed. Organise in store samplings at key periods of the year
- This role will be responsible for the regional group accounts that drive significant volume dealing with buyers, area managers, ops directors and owners (E.g LCC, Columbo Group, Be At One, Mothership etc)
- Working collaboratively alongside Ten Locks team and brand owners to ensure enough communication and information sharing. Offering and sharing potential leads where possible
Skills/Disciplines required as our Key Account Manager:
- Candidate MUST demonstrate an enthusiastic & passionate attitude
- Previous experience in the spirits arena is essential
- Excellent Planning, organisational and communication skills
- Likeable, people-person who finds it easy to network and build relationships
- Flexible and driven with an ability to work at pace and purpose
- A creative problem solver mentality
- Competent and confident with modern I.T systems, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint
- Commercial discretion and confidentiality is important especially when dealing with sensitive information from suppliers and customers.
