CIC is an interior fit-out and refurbishment company working in all sectors. We work with major brands and independents on projects for hotels, pubs, golf clubs, schools and universities. We are growing rapidly and need to increase our project management team, creating a structure to manage future growth. We are a small, friendly and highly experienced team.
We are looking for someone with experience handling refurbishment and building projects from £50k to £1.5M not just large project experience. This is a "hands-on role. Those with retail experience are welcome to apply.
You must be able to work independently and under the pressure of tight deadlines. You will be an effective communicator and have the ability to lead teams. Although we are based in Bedford, our client base is nationwide, but this role is to cover projects located in the “South” of the UK
The ideal candidate with have:
- Knowledge and awareness of Project Management principles, documents and plans.
- Previous experience in refurbishment/building industry
- Good facilitation and analytical skills.
- Ability to deliver results on time, on budget, and to the very highest standards.
- Ability to quickly gain the technical, behavioural and contextual elements of a project.
- Experience running large and small scale projects.
- Project reporting experience
- Client management experience
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
The role encompasses:
- Responsibility for the project inception to completion, including management of internal teams, resources and day to day operational aspects including management of sub- contractors
- Liaison and relationship management of our Clients, reporting and day to day liaison with internal teams – estimating, project co-ordination and accounts
- Writing up all project documentation including programmes, progress reports, scoping of work for estimation department
- Managing project budgets to ensure project profitability in line with targets and produce weekly rolling accounts
- Ensuring the H&S requirements are met/maintained to highest stands of health, safety and environmental management.
Salary is negotiable dependant upon experience, plus other benefits include company car, pension and bonus scheme.
