WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As Project Manager for Credit Cards and Unsecured Loans you’ll ensure that key milestones, risks and dependencies are well understood for all priority initiatives across the team. You will lead, influence and project manage delivery, maintaining oversight on our roadmap and outcomes, to ensure traction is maintained and delivery achieved.
You’ll be part of a team working with stakeholders at all levels, engaging and working with business areas within Everyday Banking and across the wider bank.

- Leading governance to effectively manage Cards & Unsecured Loans priorities.
- Developing clear critical paths and plans with supporting documentation to help keep project teams engaged and deliverables on track.
- Managing regular reporting on initiatives and tracking progress including updates to senior leadership against the priorities.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to identify, assess and manage project risks and supporting teams to ensure there are clear action plans that aim to mitigate these, escalating where required.
- Engaging with Global & One Europe colleagues, encouraging collaboration, coordination and alignment where appropriate between Santander geographies.
- Identifying and sharing best practices, to deliver projects faster with less cost and higher engagement.
What you’ll bring.
- Excellent experience and a proven track record of Project Management.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate confidently with all levels in a clear and concise way.
It would also be nice for you to have.
- Strong problem solving and process improvement skills.
- Experience of working in a high performing fast paced team.
- Understanding of Agile methodology ways of working.
- Strong understanding of Financial services.
What else you need to know.
Interviews will be conducted via MS teams.
You will be required to work in the office 2 days per week.
This is a permanent position.
