The role:
A great opportunity has arisen at Hovis for a Project Manager to join our ambitious and energetic commercial team and help us continue to accelerate our growth through delivering NPD to market swiftly within the quality parameters set by the business. This position is pivotal in the delivery of NPD and EPD and project management is key to achieving success and to take us into the next phase of growth.

Working alongside the project lead, or as project lead, to project manage the planning and delivery of our NPD, EPD and pack change of our Branded portfolio across Core Bread and Other Bakery from scoped definition through to launch and post launch review within the Hovis Stage & Gate process.-
Projects are to be delivered within scope, time and budget to the agreed quality, on time
and in full. - The role will require strong collaboration with, and management of, cross functional teams across the Hovis network and third party suppliers.
- Ensure that all key functions across Supply Chain, Marketing, Commercial, Procurement, Finance and Technical are clear on their project roles, accept their responsibilities and that day to day processes run efficiently to deliver best in class project management support.
- Working closely with Senior Programme and Project Manager and Marketing Project Leads to support, and enhance, the project management governance via the Stage & Gate cycle and identify and drive improvements to our ways of working and process parameters.
- You must have good relatable experience, a strong eye for detail, be highly organised, understand how interdependencies work within project delivery and have excellent stakeholder management skills

You will be responsible for detailed planning and building of achievable, if challenging
timelines, the identification of risk, taking responsibility for working to remove obstacles quickly and efficiently via corrective actions and flagging business risk. - Provide support to the wider marketing team including on specific areas such as Brandbank and DragonFlyAI.
Ideal Experiences / Qualifications / Capabilities:
Proven project management experience and a track record of delivering projects on time
and in full (time, cost, quality)-
Evidence of having managed projects through a full cycle from scoped idea to
implementation and post launch review - Experience of management of multiple activities / projects simultaneously
- Demonstrable experience of operating within a Stage & Gate process project management model
- Broad understanding of packaging artwork, repro and print processes
- Experience in FMCG or Retail medium/large complex businesses
- Experience of multi-site environments
- Problem solving skills
- Proven collaborative, influencing and interpersonal skills in a cross functional environment
- Evidence of courageous, inventive, driven and straightforward behaviours
- Excellent verbal, written and presentational skills
- Commercial acumen and sound financial understanding

Desirable:
3 years + in FMCG, food, commercial, project management.- Developed skills as evidenced in managing a challenging product to market projects.
