About us

At Dyson we challenge convention, continually experiment, and see opportunities where others see problems. The way we deliver our projects is no different – we’ve always set ourselves the challenge of using innovative approaches to delivery that others would not think of. Working in the project management team, this is our continual focus - as competitors get better and faster at copying us, trying new things is an ingrained way of working and culture.

We're committed to our campus culture and don’t look to offer a regular hybrid working arrangement. This helps us to achieve the spirit of Dyson – collaboration, creativity, and inventiveness – in our inspiring, social, and dynamic workspaces.

About the role

As a Project Manager, you will report to the Programme Manager, working within the Planning & Operations team, based in Malmesbury.

You will be responsible for delivering large-scale global projects focused on New Product Development (NPD) launches, bespoke campaigns, and owner communications. Coverage will span from the initial brief through to the final delivery, managing the project through our internal processes and governance milestones. The role requires experience in managing medium to large-scale projects and will work closely with our in-house creative, production, and commercial GTM teams to bring our products and campaigns to market, to spec, on time, and to the required quality expected at Dyson.

Your role will be hands-on, liaising with key business stakeholders, running, and ensuring delivery of specific Owner & Retention projects, on time, to the required quality, and within budget. You will provide end-to-end management of projects, supported with detailed timelines, giving stakeholders visibility of plans and progress against them, owning the project budget and resourcing.

You will communicate clearly and regularly with all project stakeholders and senior members of the team, and manage project risk and issues, escalating where appropriate to the Programme Manager. You will partner with our commercial marketing team to deliver against the strategic direction set and collaborate closely with our in-house production teams (film/content/TV/imagery), keeping them up-to-date with appropriate information

You will facilitate regular cross-functional sessions, to ensure clarity in project objectives and direction, as well as addressing any barriers to execution, at source. You will ensure our teams are engaged, focused and follow our established ways of working and governance, including meeting cadence and status reporting. You will work closely with our Technical Project Manager, to ensure that all claims and legal requirements are approved within schedule.
