Job Title: Intern Project Manager
Full time: Office based
Working Hours: Mon-Fri ; 9am – 6pm (8 working hours)
Job Summary: We are seeking an Intern Project Manager to join 6 Point 5 Square. The Intern Project Manager will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager in overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of construction and fit-out projects, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. They will also be responsible for assisting with managing a team of external project engineers, architects, and construction workers, and collaborating with other departments to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of construction projects, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Assisting with developing and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure that they are communicated to all stakeholders.
- Assisting with managing a team of project engineers, architects, and construction workers, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with other departments, including design, engineering, and finance, to ensure that projects meet all requirements and are completed successfully.
- Conduct regular project meetings with stakeholders to review progress, identify issues, and develop solutions.
- Assisting with managing contracts and negotiations with external vendors and contractors.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and company policies.
- Prepare and submit project status reports and financial reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Working towards a Master's degree in project management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
- A strong team player.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge and understanding in project management software.
- Knowledge of building regulations, and construction methods.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively.
