THE ROLE
We are seeking a self-motivated Project Manager, with a technical background in the sustainability and/or energy sectors, to take a leading role particularly in our expanding E&S programme structure.
Job Title Project Manager Energy and Net Zero
Reports to Director of energy and project development.
Location Geographic – Southeast England Base and remote
Role Purpose is reporting projects, and programs performances to clients’ directors and lead of Facility management, you will be responsible for the delivery energy projects across clients’ portfolios. The role would be well suited to an experienced project manager (at least three years), someone with a background in engineering preferable in Building Services.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects and tasks that support clients’ decarbonisation objectives. This includes managing project teams, finances, risks for both already approved and new projects in the pipeline.
- Proactively interact with internal development team and external stakeholders, H&S, risk, quality, schedule, and contract management
- Delivering high quality communication and projects briefs as well as clearly written projects outputs.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ensure projects and commissions are delivered to the satisfaction of the client for quality, cost, and time.
- Support the project team ensuring appropriate resources are provided on projects, meeting the client and business requirements.
- Actively manage subcontractors and resources remote from the core project team
- Support business development opportunities with existing and new clients
Person Specification
- Experience of working as part of a collaborative project team in the build environment
- Experience in delivering both simple and complex M&E projects.
- Experience in the sustainability and/or energy sectors.
- A good understanding of the measures required to decarbonise the built environment.
- An ability to communicate effectively and be client-facing.
- Experience of supporting bid proposals and business development activities
- Write concise and clear reports.
- Confident at working independently, with an ability to self-start.
- Project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, technically adept and analytical
- Ability to simplify complex concepts verbally and through succinct reports
Skills Required (Essential)
Person Specification
- Graduate qualification in an engineering/energy related subject e.g., Building Services Engineering, Mech Eng, Elec etc.
- knowledge of building services and how energy is used within commercial buildings.
- Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel, MS Outlook)
