Who are the team?
We're the Data Transfer and Management Services (DTMS) Lab, building and managing the future DTMS to meet LBG's aim of being a data-driven organisation. The key to unlocking value from our vast amount of data is enabling the group to have a deep understanding of its data and assurance of its controls. The Lab owns and engineers enterprise wide data management solutions that are embraced across the organisation that enables business users and application owners to automate and scale data management practices on their data.
The next phase of our transformation is moving more into cloud technologies, it’s never been move vital to enable the organisation to have data management controls as we move our data and to ensure that it can be trusted and controlled in our future technologies.
We work flexibly and operate a hybrid working pattern with teams & individuals mixing their time between home and office locations with agile working patterns from 2-3 days per week from home, full-time, part-time, or flexible work schedules, for example start and finish times, or compressed hours!
What you’ll be doing….
As Project Manager your goal will be to achieve value to the group and out customers through driving the delivery of key Projects, focusing on core Project Management skillset including planning, financial management, governance and stakeholder management. Understanding, embracing, and being able to select appropriate tools and methods to deliver change is also key within this role.
There will be chances to create relationships across the business, improving opportunities for learning and continuous improvement, as well as mentoring others to achieve delivery excellence.
Our Project Managers work with Lab Product Owners and Program Managers, leading teams to deliver effective solutions to customer problems. You’ll have the chance to get to the heart of business problems, managing and simplify complexity and working constructively with partners.
What we need from you
- Project Management experience delivering data projects (software, governance, tooling, controls etc.)
- Continuous Improvement mindset/ Growth Mindset
- Experience of delivering projects using Agile methodologies
- Experience working with cross-functional & cross-location teams
- The ability to build partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared goals
- An understanding of PM tooling (we use Microsoft Project Plans, JIRA, Confluence)
