Job description

We are looking for friendly team members to join our great team in our busy Coffee Shop.

HOURS: 16 plus hours per week on a rota basis, covering working week Monday - Saturday, covering shifts 9am - 5pm, flexibility in relation days/hours worked is required. (Must be available to work the following shifts: 9am - 5pm / 9am - 3pm on rota basis)

HOURLY RATE: National Minimum Wage (based on age group)

Primacy Farm Butchers is owned by the Bowman family and the farm, which has been in the family for over 30 years, supplies our Tesco Meat Counters across Northern Ireland and our own Food Village, based in Bangor.

The company has won many prestigious awards over the years including N. Ireland Butcher of the Year and the UK Butchers Plus Award and this has been achieved with a combined excellence of product and staff.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

To work as part of a team in our Coffee Shop and provide an efficient food and beverage service whilst maintaining exceptional customer service.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve customers and provide excellent customer service
  • Make teas/coffees etc. as required
  • Operate the till with competence
  • Serve hot food, soups, stews etc.
  • Serve desserts
  • Clear and clean tables and keep the coffee shop area clean
  • Take customer orders
  • Work closely with Kitchen staff
  • Dishwashing duties
  • Maintaining a clean workplace at all times
  • Other duties as required

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

  • Friendly and Approachable
  • Cautious when dealing with till transactions
  • Willing to learn new skills
  • Physically capable of lifting stock, carrying trays etc.
  • Motivated and hardworking
  • Flexible attitude to work and capable of working as part of an established team
  • Must be a team player
