Key Accountabilities
As we turbocharge M&S.com we need to build new fulfilment capabilities to enable us to introduce new product categories and reach the scale of our growth ambitions for our online business.You will play a key role in the delivery of a complex, business wide change programme working closely with the programme lead and workstream owners to ensure the overall programme outcomes are landed successfully.
Please note this role will be a 6-9 month fixed term contract.

What you'll do
- Project management of discrete projects within the overall Dropship programme
- Provide support and challenge to work-stream owners
- Accountable for ensuring there are effective controls and plans in place for workstream deliverables
- Provide appropriate governance for workstreams, feeding into overall programme governance approach
- React to changing business needs, prioritising activities and troubleshoot to resolve issues
- Ensure stakeholders are fully engaged, understand their role and have clarity of the plan including timescales for delivery
- Feed into communications and engagement with wider business areas to ensure programme is well understood and supported
Who you are
You will be experienced in landing transformational change programmes in a Retail Ecommerce environment, proficient in various project management approaches, but more importantly you will be hands on and able to apply the theory in a practical and pragmatic way to deliver business results.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Agile, Product, Project, Programme and Change Methodologies
- A proven experience in project delivery roles
- Experience working in an eCommerce retail environment would be advantageous
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end retail business, understanding the pressures and incentives that drive different parts of the business
- Aptitude for and strong experience of managing successful large or complex programmes/projects through the full development lifecycle
- Ability to think logically, analyse situations and problem solve to keep initiatives on track
- The ability to build strong working relationships with people in a wide variety of roles, dealing with difficult issues or conflict in a collaborative way
- Ability to work under pressure and successfully prioritise and make trade-offs, with strong attention to detail and quality of output
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office with particular focus on PowerPoint and Excel
