The Bosch Engineering Group is a fully owned subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH. As a state-of-the-art engineering service provider, we offer development and application solutions for all electronic systems in the Bosch portfolio. Based at MIRA Technology Park in Nuneaton, BEG-GB is seeking an Project Manager for BOSCH braking systems for UK car manufacturers.

• Technical and commercial project management (e.g. acquisition, offer preparation, project steering, controlling, quality, costs, timeline, series production)
• Lead or have experience of leading project teams from different departments (function development, software development, calibration)
• Support the sales manager for the acquisition of new projects with existing customer or for business development on new technologies and new markets
• Manage resources across different engineering departments in the U.K, Germany and India.
• Responsible for producing management reports on a regular basis.
• Responsibile for the assigned customer; working towards a very good collaboration with the customer, understanding their needs and requirements
• Lead and participate in numerous tests trips across Europe (Germany, Sweden, Spain, Italy,...)

This is a senior position and you will be expected to demonstrate the full range of the Bosch Competence Model. Therefore, as well as strong technical competency, you will have excellent entrepreneurial, leadership and interpersonal skills, including:

Required Skills:

• Degree qualified in a relevant engineering subject i.e. Automotive, Mechanical, Electronics or equivalent
• Substantial experience in compliance processes and project management.
• Detailed knowledge about project management and the applicable processes
• Professional experience with customers and project acquisition
• Entrepreneurial / Business Acumen
• High level of commitment and engagement
• Communicative and Team player
• Excellent written and verbal communication ability

Desired Skills:

• Passionate about cars/motorsports at a professional level and beyond
• Project management certifications or equivalent
• Basic understanding of the German language is beneficial

This role has been evaluated as up to band 10 in our internal job bandings. An approximate salary range for this role is £48,000 - 52,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience.
