Salary: £14.24 to £17.00 per hour depending on the shift pattern YOU’LL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER BY… Working as part of the operations team Carrying out a variety of manual handling tasks- cheese cutting, yield understanding & control, line set up, operation of wrapping machines and using machinery and materials handling equipment where necessary to meet the Health and Safety, Quality, Plan and Cost requirements. Adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures, Site Policies and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW). Carrying out visual on line Quality Checks against the company standards. YOU’RE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU ARE… Looking for a role which will keep you active and on your feet all shift. Able to work following a process. Previously experienced as a Production Operative work- advantageous. Trained in Level 2 Food Safety- advantageous. We are developing our site in Nuneaton into a UK centre of excellence for cheese packaging through commissioning twelve new packing lines throughout 2023 and 2024. This site will accommodate a range of different technologies to enable us to pack our branded and private label cheese products in multiple formats, from snacking through to sliced, grated and block formats. These roles are for our 24/7 shift and your holidays are rostered as part of the shift pattern. We are looking to hire people who can develop a broad mix of skills, which means there is plenty of scope for development and progression.
