Good Food Wines is an independent supplier of alcohol products including wines, liqueurs, beers, ciders, spirits and vinegars to some of the most prestigious names in the food manufacturing industry.

Based just outside Rochester, this role would suit a food or drink Production Operative looking for a new role in a fast-paced volume environment and with a growing business.

A little about you:

We are looking for a hands-on Production Operative to work with our team of experienced operators to unload product, store and move liquids in our warehouse, and blend and mix alcoholic liquids to fulfil our customers specific orders. You need to be:

· A hands-on and active person. All the tasks in the supply and production of our liquids are physical in nature.

· Well-motivated and enthusiastic, willing to learn and be a team member of a growing and changing business

· An adaptive nature. We blend and produce wines, spirits, vinegars and condiments to varying strengths and recipes, and work to fulfil an ever-changing list of customer orders.

· A good standard of written and spoken English to be able to read and follow blending instructions, store and label & package goods.

· A qualified Forklift driver or willing to learn.

The role involves:

· Operating various machinery (disgorging machine and flow meters).

· Blending alcoholic liquids and vinegars to specification according to procedure.

· Labelling and wrapping goods on pallets.

· Storing & stocking goods in the warehouse using a Forklift Truck.

· Working closely with the Technical Team to manage the quality of incoming and outgoing product, and responsible for managing CCP (critical control points) whilst blending products for customers. An understanding of food hygiene and Health & Safety will be of benefit.

· Ensuring the warehouse is clean & tidy at all times

Salary: £25,894.00 per year
