Our roots are in our thriving digital network, so we pride ourselves on our strong presence within Design and Web 3.0 communities through monthly educational meetups in London, Manchester, Amsterdam and Berlin as well as online, all of which feed into our larger global conferences of up to 3000 attendees, in the UK and America.
We are therefore excited to announce an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our rapidly expanding team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and successfully delivering our online and in-person tech-inspired events and whitelabel projects from initiation to completion. You will collaborate with our event, content, marketing and sales teams, to manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and ensure that project objectives are achieved within the defined scope and quality standards. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional organisational, leadership, and communication skills, along with a proven track record of managing successful projects in a fast-paced environment.
Please note, this role is offered remotely but we require candidates to be near the London area for occasional client and staff meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals, timelines, and resource allocation. Define project tasks and deliverables, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Build, lead, and motivate cross-functional project teams. Foster collaboration and ensure clear communication among team members, stakeholders, and clients.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address issues to keep projects on track.
- Create and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and resource allocation. Ensure projects are delivered within budget constraints.
- Maintain high-quality standards throughout project execution. Implement testing and quality control processes to deliver reliable solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing client inquiries and concerns.
- Adapt to changing project requirements and scope, ensuring that changes are documented, communicated, and implemented effectively.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, schedules, meeting minutes, and project artifacts.
- Coordinate project closure activities, including prepare and presenting project reports, highlighting key metrics, accomplishments, and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Project Management, Business Administration) or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, successfully managing complex projects from initiation to closure.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Exceptional organisational and time management abilities.
- Ability to effectively prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
