About the Roles
Base Location: Glasgow, Aberdeen, Perth or Inverness
Salary: £32,600 - £48,800 + car / car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available
Due to our continued growth within SSEN Transmission Offshore Directorate, we have numerous opportunities for passionate Project Management professionals within the Offshore Development Team to help deliver our ambitious plans over the next 5 years and beyond, as we directly facilitate Scotland's ambitions to meet Net-Zero.
The responsibilities for these roles are as follows:
- Progress key surveys and studies to inform initial design development and site selection.
- Production and / or facilitation of key deliverables to allow projects to progress through governance gateways.
- Production of project reports and schedules including updating of project risk registers.
- Main contract tender preparation, evaluation and appointment documentation.
- Key stakeholder and supply chain engagement.
- Applying and adhering to the Safety Management Systems, best practices and the SSE Large Capital Projects Governance processes for all projects.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we'd love you to have:
- An understanding of project management methodology and practice.
- Engineering or related subject, experience / appropriate qualification is desirable.
- Experience in the Transmission industry, or construction, or the utilities sector on major projects.
- Experience of High Voltage connections would be advantageous
