About the Role
Base Location: Basingstoke
Salary: £39,415 - £45,136 + Car/Car Allowance + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Field and Office based
We are looking for a Field Project Manager to join our busy Minor Connections Team. We deliver a range of jobs to our customers from New Supplies, Increases in load for EV Chargers and Service Alterations.
The Field Project Manager is responsible for carrying out site visits prior to the connection of the job, ensuring jobs can be delivered right first time and to cost.
The ideal candidate will be someone who can deliver excellent customer service whilst ensuring our customers understand all the requirements needed to allow us to deliver the job competently and through to completion.

Roles & responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Contribute towards our Time to Connect & Broad Measure incentives carrying out a comprehensive site visit ensuring customers understand what is needed to allow us to deliver the customers job on time and to cost.
- Resolving customer queries/consenting issues prior to work commencing.
- Identifying and raising variation requests if there are any changes to how the project is to be delivered and reviewing all costs associated with the design and ensure they are accurate to prevent projects becoming overspent.
- Providing accurate and timely information from the site visits to the Hub Project Managers to enable, the job to be booked with the correct skilled resource and construction packs to be produced for the delivery teams.
- Resolve technical issues that may arise in day and work with stakeholders and deliver teams to seek a timely and positive outcome.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Good business and technical knowledge of electricity distribution LV network.
- Excellent Customer service skills.
- Awareness of street works and permitting and ideally hold NSWRA accreditation.
- I.T. literate being comfortable with Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel, and Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential and the ability to comfortably deal with stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external.
Regular travel is required and as a result we can only accept applications from candidates that hold a current driving licence.
