Job description

The Role: Southwark Council's Environment, Neighbourhoods and Growth department is recruiting two Project Managers to the Programmes and Change division. The Programmes and Change team is a Programme Management Office (PMO), consisting of a central team of project professionals, working flexibly across the department to support meaningful change and realise departmental and corporate priorities. The team works on the department's key priority programmes including the departmental change programme and the department's response to Southwark Stands Together, our work to tackle racism and injustice, as well as development and delivery of the service review framework. This role will be responsible for leading a range of projects in the department across all our business areas including environmental services, culture, leisure, parks, climate change, community safety and community engagement. You will have a varied portfolio of work, delivering with teams who need expert project management support to improve their services. You will be an excellent communicator, highly organised and have the ability to think critically and innovatively.
