This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Project Managers looking for a role packed with variety who want to have a direct and valuable impact on the lives of the people of Southampton.
We are looking for collaborative and enthusiastic Project Managers to join our Projects and Change team. The successful candidate will work across a broad range of projects including business transformation and IT enabling projects and will need to be comfortable delivering multiple projects across any required remit.
You will be comfortable working independently and as part of a wider programme team, astute to the political nature of the public sector. Ownership and accountability are a must, with proven experience of end to end project delivery and the ability to build constructive relationships across a range of diverse stakeholders.
Budget and delivery management, appropriate governance and guidance of the wider project team are core to the role, with successful achievement of agreed project outcomes, supported by active change management.

This post is a fixed term contract for 1 year
The role is 37 hours per week
It is usual for successful candidates to start at the bottom of the pay grade.
The interviews for this post will be in person
