The Logistics Project Manager is responsible for all facets of the materials handling and logistics management associated with the projects within Project Entity focused mainly within EU2.
In this key position, the Logistics Project manager will be the primary responsible for all Project logistics activities with Key interface between Project Management, Procurement, Customers and Suppliers/External providers.
This role requires a proactive work approach while overseeing all light/heavy haulage activities associated with the sub-station construction works on allocated Projects
Development, Management and application of Logistics of Processes, Policies and Procedures

Your Responsibilities
In this role your key responsibilities include:
Proposal/ bid phase:
Preparation of logistics calculations & development of complex transport concepts for less complex and complex international projects.
Implementation of risk assessments, review & commentary of customer specifications and EPC contracts, development of project specific logistics requirements and concepts for less complex and complex international projects
Execution phase:
- Based on project transport contracts & general transport agreements and on project requirements in terms of timeline and budget, management and controlling of less complex and complex international projects as well as checking of compliance with specifications and services (contractual provisions, costs, prices, deadlines, etc.).
- Shipping coordination of all cargo types (heavy lift items, over dimensioned cargo, general cargo etc.) incl. budget responsibility, recognition & implementation of savings potentials and risk mitigation.
Contracting of project transport contracts:
- Participation in negotiations with forwarders and alignment of transport concepts with internal & external interface partners & stakeholders
Your Profile
Key skills that are essential for a Logistics Manager are as below
You have a degree in business administration or similar, preferably in Logistics.- You are used to working in international cross-functional teams, coordinating several internal & external interface partners and have extensive logistical & contract law knowledge.
- Experience with risk, claim & opportunity management as well as corresponding process knowledge would be desirable.
- Experience in negotiation of Logistics Contracts
- In addition, you have excellent MS Office, and basic knowledge in SAP.
- High analytical ability, customer & solution orientation as well as your social competence, assertiveness and a high organizational & team
