Paradise Developments Project Supervisor
Paradise Developments is looking for a Project Supervisor in low rise residential who is responsible for the day-to-day construction and site operation from excavation to closing, ensuring that all work is completed on time, on budget, and to the high standard that Paradise Developments is known for.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise Construction Activities: oversee and manage day-to-day construction operations on the site, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines.
- Team Management: Lead, Motivate, and coordinate a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and other personnel, delegating tasks appropriately and ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
- Quality Control: Ensure that construction work meets or exceeds quality standards seta by the project plans and specifications, conducting regular inspections and quality checks.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce and promote adherence to all safety protocols, regulations, and best practices to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel on the construction site.
- Communication and Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact between project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, facilitating effective communication and resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise.
- Project Planning and Execution: Collaborate with project managers to develop construction schedules, work plans, and strategies, and implement them effectively to achieve project objectives.
- Material and Equipment management: Coordinate with suppliers, ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment, and maintain an inventory to support construction activities on site.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records, including daily progress reports, site diaries, incident reports, and other relevant documentation as required by the project management team.
- Budget and Cost Control: Monitor construction expenses, control costs, and optimize resource allocation to ensure project profitability.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with the construction site, develop mitigation strategies., and implement appropriate measures to minimize downtime.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry building townhomes, semi-detached, and detached singles.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans, specifications, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in using construction management software and tools.
- Sound problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $80,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
