An opportunity has arisen for you, an experienced IT Implementation Project Manager to join the team of a leading provider of industrial services in the sectors of oil and gas, renewable energy, power generation, process, environment, and construction.
This exciting position focuses on a high-profile project aimed at offsetting carbon emissions across the UK.
You will be collaborating with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables, while ensuring adherence to timelines and resource requirements. You will develop detailed project plans, identify critical milestones, and manage budgets to ensure successful project execution. Additionally, you will coordinate cross-functional teams, assign tasks, and foster effective communication and collaboration.
As the IT Project Manager, you will evaluate, select, and implement IT systems, infrastructure, and software to support our carbon offset objectives. Conducting risk assessments, developing mitigation strategies, and monitoring project progress will also be key aspects of your role.
Furthermore, you will manage vendor relationships, ensure compliance with industry standards and environmental regulations, and oversee change management processes. Your contributions will play a vital role in driving the organization's sustainability goals and achieving successful outcomes for our carbon offsetting projects.
What they’re after -
- Experience as an IT Implementation Project Manager or similar role.
- Experience working within Industrial, Nuclear or Construction environments
- Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering IT projects.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications.
- Experience in planning and executing IT projects, utilising project management methodologies.
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
