We have an excellent opportunity to join the Accounting team in Solihull on a part time, permanent basis. Reporting to the Financial Accountant - Marketing & Commercial this role will assist with daily and monthly tasks.
key aspects of the role will include:
- Raise and submit claims to suppliers for agreed funding for in-store promotions
- Chase suppliers for the payments of these promotional claims
- Process deductions for unpaid promotional invoices when required
- Reconciling customer payments on Coda
- Using the Aged Debt report to chase customers for outstanding balances
- Involvement in month end account reconciliation
- Travel bookings management for employees
- General administration/filing as required
the ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
- Numerate with excellent attention to detail
- Good IT skills, including MS Excel, MS Word
- Excellent communication skills
- Capable of working under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Be an excellent team player and demonstrate a flexible approach
