THE ROLE:
The postholder will work closely with the Operations Manager.
You will be responsible for the coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of projects ensuring consistency with the charity’s mission, organisational strategy, commitments and goals.
This role will undertake day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s), plan project activities; track progress, evaluate project implementation and co-ordinate reports to clients/funders.
The post holder will be a self-motivated, results-oriented, experienced project manager who will accomplish the project objectives and deliverables on time and within budget.
You will be expected to incorporate an understanding of OnePlusOne’s strategic objectives in the delivery of their work: the wider planning, impacts on other projects/contracts, planning ahead and future proofing – thinking beyond simply what is required to deliver project milestones.
LIST OF ACTIVITIES:
- Responsible medium – large scale projects.
- Lead the planning and implementation of projects, developing full scale project plans, facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
- Develop project plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Manage project resource allocation (with support Operations Manager) - identifying resources assigning responsibilities, assembling and coordinating project teams.
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the projects.
- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored.
- Work closely with workstream leads to support delivery and ensure effective and efficient implementation of the projects.
- On-going stakeholder engagement and management to ensure effective and efficient project lifecycles.
- With support, manage the project budget, forecasting requirements; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances and initiating corrective actions.
- Work with technical developers, video developers, designers and other experts where needed to deliver required products.
- Trouble shooting on a daily basis, in order to anticipate and react to change.
- Provide direction and support to project team.
- Ensure quality assurance.
- Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions to all relevant stakeholders.
- Co-ordinate project evaluations and assessment of results.
- Co-ordinate end of project debriefing and produce a written report of lessons learned.
- Day to day management of the Project Administrator.
ABOUT YOU:
You will have:
· A sound knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
· Proven experience in project management of App’s and/or digital assets
· Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
· Proven experience of managing and delivering on more than one project
· Proven experience in people management
· Proven experience in strategic planning
· Proven experience in risk management
· Proficient in using MS Office, Teams, LMS’s
· Proven experience of budgeting and managing budgets
· Proven experience of working with a range of diverse stakeholders
· Be proficient in project management software and/or CRM e.g. Monday.com/Miro
· Have excellent communication skills
· Have excellent team player skills with the ability to bring people together and get the most out of them
· Have experience of agile project management
