Roles and responsibilities Work across Partners in order to develop a Mental Health Programme across North West London Comprehensively project manage the Mental Health Project by overseeing the project coordination, data management and administrative activities to ensure smooth running and progress of the project. Develop and frequently up-date project documentation. Track study milestones in terms of progress and budget. Organise meetings and presentations.
Identify, record and provide solutions to complex project risks and issues. Implement project management methods and intelligent approaches to change management to deliver agreed business requirements and successful project outcomes. Assist with business contingency and disaster recovery planning for assigned project. Assist with the development of operational policies, procedures and training requirements for assigned project.
Provide timely highlight / exception reports etc. to the relevant boards and committees. Make use of a wide range of information sources, including the Intranet/Internet, and professional publications so as to enhance successful project delivery. Manage timely and efficient procedures for collection, entry and monitoring of study data.
Work with autonomously, prioritising own workload, including recommending, suggesting and implementing changes to the process as appropriate to ensure continuing, efficient service development. Work with the NW London network to share workstreams and learning. Liaise with local social care / education / voluntary sector providers to ensure joined up pathways for young people moving from acute care into the community. Support and oversee organisation-wide engagement activities Promote, develop and engage colleagues both internally and externally utilising various engagement platforms.
Act as a champion for Children and Young People (CYP) with mental health needs on each acute site, providing leadership and working across all professional groups. Set-up and maintain an up-to-date project documentation for the Programme. Produce reports for internal committees and meetings. Establish links with existing Trust structures that can support the project goals (e.g.
mental health committees, data teams, other clinical teams). Working with clinical leads oversee and support benchmarking activities against the national framework provided by NHS England and project objectives to ensure alignment and adherence to best practices. Contribute to the continued development and improvement of culture within the system. Assist in the writing, updating and implementation of policies and procedures.
Work collaboratively with Business Intelligence and Data professionals across providers and the ICS Working with clinical leads and data and digital subject matter experts, support work to define clear data requirements to quantify the number of children and identify the types of mental health needs in the acute setting, specifically Emergency Department (ED) and paediatric beds. establish a consistent method of monitoring patient outcomes and experiences, ensuring alignment with Integrated Care System (ICS) priority outcomes. Work with business intelligence, coding and ICT teams across sites to implement efficient data capture and flow processes (with support from NWL colleagues). Work collaboratively with other Health and Social Care Partners Work as part of a wider network of participation professionals to share best practice and collaborate.
Actively promote and participate in a network that promotes joint working between mental health and physical health trusts, fostering inter-professional learning. Work collaboratively with colleagues in local authority childrens services, mental health and community providers to deliver project outcomes and promote partnership working.
