Job description
We are a national police charity supporting both servicing and retired police family personnel recovering from either physical or psychological injury. The charity’s aim is to assist their return to better health and wellbeing
We are looking for a receptionist to work on a casual/bank basis.
Reception is open 7 days per week and the working hours are either 8.30 am to 2.30 pm or 2.30 pm to 8.30 pm.
The main responsibilities are:
- Being the first point of contact for the Charity both in person and on the telephone
- Data input of application forms for treatment
- Dealing with enquiries from our beneficiaries
- Taking cash and credit card payments
- Signing in visitors
- Cleaning, organising, and maintaining the reception area
- Maintaining front door security and reporting any suspicious activity
- Representing the Charity with a positive attitude and professional appearance
We offer a first class working environment and are looking for someone who is both a team player and content to work alone and possesses good keyboard and IT skills. Previous work in reception would be preferable although not essential as full training will be provided
