The Kent and Medway Maths Hub has an exciting opportunity to appoint our new Project Manager. This is a crucial role for the Maths Hub and sits at the very heart of our delivery. As the lead of our administration team, and first point of contact for Hub work, managing the relationship with the 326 schools currently on our programmes. You will play a significant and central part in the effective delivery of our plan to support teachers and leaders across the whole region in the delivery of Maths Education.
Examples of recent activity include successfully recruiting schools to our Teaching for Mastery Workgroup through organising a local event with a fantastic keynote speaker, and using a range of tools to promote our work with schools who are not yet working with the Maths Hub. We have also been working to devise systems to support the successful tracking of participation in order to sustain engagement.

The working basis is full time, however we are willing to discuss other working patterns as we can look at anything from Term Time only - Term Time +5 weeks for the right candidate. There is also capacity for remote working which can be discussed further at the interview stage. The position is offered on a one-year fixed term basis which will be reviewed annually, based on funding. Nationally, Maths Hub funding is confirmed until at least August 2025.

We aim to provide our partner schools with a full suite of opportunities to support teacher development from the first steps of employment, into teacher training and throughout their careers. Alongside these many and varied pathways, through our apprenticeship programmes, we are able to provide high quality training for colleagues working in IT, Business Administration, Premises Support as well as Teaching Assistants. Being part of Leigh Academies Trust: As of 1st September 2022, our Trust comprises 30 geographically organised academies (14 secondaries, 14 primaries and 2 special) educating 20,000 students, and employing 3,000 talented staff. The Trust is establishing four ‘clusters’ of academies: North Kent; Central Kent; South East London; Medway.
