Salary
£10.90 per hour
Hours
- 24.5 hours per week
- 8am - 3pm
- You will receive your rota one month in advance
Key Responsibilities
· Carry out all cleaning duties as directed by the Head Housekeeper to the required company standards.
· Cleaning duties can be in any area of the care home.
· Ensure that daily and deep cleaning schedules are adhered to.
· Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and hygiene
· Ensure that all cleaning equipment is correctly and safely used and kept in a safe and clean condition.
· Report any defect to the Head Housekeeper or Maintenance Officer
· Carry out any other reasonable instructions of the Home Manager.
· To be sensitive to the privacy and individual needs of the residents and agree on a convenient time to carry out the cleaning of their personal rooms
· To comply with COSHH regulations.
· To adhere to infection control policies at all times.
· To ensure the correct use of PPE.
· To follow the correct use of colour code systems within the home
· To ensure all necessary documentation is completed daily.
· To ensure trolleys are re-stocked at the end of shift and cleaning cupboards are left clean and tidy.
Experienced desired
- Basic Education including Maths and English
- Previous cleaning experience
- To understand and ability to adhere to infection control, health and safety/COSHH guidelines
- Proven communication skills both written and verbal
- Proven ability to organise priorities
To provide a high standard of hospitality, cleaning and laundry within the home for our resident, visitors and colleagues.
The post holder must maintain standards as required in adherence to the Company’s policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with infection control procedures.
