Our client is looking for a project manager to join their busy development team. The company supplies software and hardware to local authorities and waste management operators in the UK
The company provide software for waste, street cleansing and other front line municipal services. 1 in 4 UK council waste departments use their systems making them the market leader, continually innovating in both technology and services.
This role is suitable for flexible working and their team work hybrid-remote. Regular travel to the head office in Barnsley will be essential.
The role:
· Managing the delivery of the projects
· Managing client relationships
· Maintaining project documentation including project plan and RAID
· Arranging meetings and providing progress updates
· Writing PID documents
· Providing highlight reports to project board
· Providing feedback internally on project progress.
About you:
· Ideally, you will be PRINCE2 qualified and experienced
· A technical background would be advantageous but isn’t essential as the focus on the role is really the project management element
· Attention to detail and a love for paperwork / document processing
· You will be able to take ownership of your own workload, working independently on most projects
