The advertised salary includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role.

About this opportunity
We are looking for a Newly Qualified Social Worker who is either about to or have recently graduated to join our social work teams. We are ideally looking for applicants who have also had some experience which can include voluntary work within a Childrens Services setting.
As part of our Social Work Academy you will:
Receive support with an Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) programme from within your team and from the wider Workforce and Organisational Development team.
Attend bring back days supported by the Social Work Academy Team manager and wider team.
Access ongoing Continual Professional Development (CPD) within the ASYE programme and within your team
Experience rural social work in a beautiful part of the world.

DBS
This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 and requires an enhanced DBS check with a Children's/Adults Barred List check.
Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with adults and Children. It is an offence for people who are barred from working in regulated activity to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with adults and Children.
