Do you have Project Lead experience, and are you seeking a new contract in Gaydon? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a Purchasing Technology Project Lead, and the hybrid role comes with an umbrella contract rate of £40.14 per hour (Inside IR35).

As a Project Lead, you will support the purchasing technology transformation, ensuring the delivery of critical technology improvement programmes and projects across the existing systems architecture. Typically, this will involve the identification, planning and co-ordination of procurement technology projects, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of purchasing technology solutions that will transform Global Purchasing operations moving into the future.

To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

• Support the development of Global Purchasing Architecture projects pipeline aligned to the overall technology strategy
• Work on projects and work streams, from scoping to delivery and including cross-functional engagement and stakeholder management, ensuring project delivery to the required timescale, quality and cost
• Coordinate project activity to review processes, procedures, work instructions and systems
• Establish and support an effective project management governance
• Deliver projects utilising project management techniques to ensure the delivery.

To apply for this Project Lead role, you will need previous experience and proven project delivery capability, managing multiple, complex projects (ideally IT/Purchasing Change Projects) with a large number of stakeholder groups. You will also require the following:

• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship management skills
• Ability to present complex data & issues to a varied audience
• Analytical skills to identify how one issue can impact another and put in place the required interventions through support or from own knowledge base
• Experience in Problem Resolution using structured approaches
