Job Description: As a Project Manager at our landscaping company, you will play a vital role in overseeing and coordinating the successful execution of landscaping projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring their timely completion within budget and to the highest quality standards. Your exceptional organizational and leadership skills, combined with your extensive knowledge of landscaping practices, will enable you to effectively manage resources, communicate with clients, and motivate our dedicated team of landscapers.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of landscaping projects, including site preparation, hardscaping, softscaping, irrigation, and maintenance.
  • Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans to ensure projects are completed efficiently and within established parameters.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, designers, and subcontractors to clarify project requirements, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Procure materials, equipment, and subcontractor services, negotiating competitive pricing and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
  • Provide clear direction and guidance to our team of landscapers, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to complete their tasks effectively.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement proactive measures to mitigate issues and ensure project success.
  • Conduct regular on-site inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and financial records.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the landscaping industry, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of landscaping principles, techniques, materials, and equipment.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Valid driver's license and the flexibility to travel to project sites as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £55,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
