Job description

The Cyber Security Project Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects within the portfolio. The PM will possess both technical and business skills relevant to the successful delivery of Cyber projects. The client is seeking an experienced 'all rounder', capable of working autonomously, at speed and within the wider team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Analysing, planning and developing projects within the programme
  • Identify and define clear project deliverables aligned to the overall programme objectives
  • Develop and maintain project plans
  • Forecast and report on resource requirements and utilisation
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues, reporting and escalating to the programme manager as appropriate
  • Ensure compliance with all programme governance and creation and maintenance of relevant documentation
  • Work in alignment with Programme Lead
  • Conduct Stakeholder workshops
  • Maintain and run project progress meetings and provide timely and accurate project status reports

Skill & Experience

  • Relevant degree and formal project management qualification or relevant experience
  • Demonstrable recent Cyber Security Project Management experience within the full project lifecycle – ideally within a financial company
  • Ability to liaise with technical teams, business stakeholders and executive management
  • Lead small teams and work positively with other areas of the business
  • Proven experience working with Risk Assurance

This contract will be an initial 6 months with the view of extension into the wider business for further work. The role is a hybrid role working 1-2 days in one of the companies 25 locations throughout the UK (you will choose which location works best for you).

This role does work inside IR35.
