We are currently recruiting for a Food and Beverage Projects Manager to join Hand Picked Hotels, this is a new role created due to the elevation of our the food and beverage operations and new restaurant brand roll out.
This role can be London based, however you will be expected to travel to all our hotels within our collection as required to be able to fulfil the requirements for this role.
About the role:
- The Food and Beverage Projects Manager will be responsible for developing the pre-opening and roll out strategy for the new F&B concepts including the enhancement of the existing concepts within Hand Picked Hotels.
- This will be a key role within the business and will involve communicating with all departments necessary to ensure a successful launch of each concept.
- As Food and Beverage Projects Manager your role will involve collaborating with the F&B Project Team to maximize revenue and deliver profitable outlets whilst maintaining a disciplined structure towards the budget set for each concept.
- You will be responsible for providing the pre-opening and launch support within the operation ensuring the standards set by the F&B department are executed effectively and efficiently.
- Develop best practices and challenge the business on how to improve concept delivery.
- Be active in the recruitment of key talent and be aware of pipelines for upcoming projects ensuring recruitment timelines are communicated in a timely manner.
- Work in conjunction with the hotel General Managers, local F&B teams, Group F&B Director to create high level experiences in line with the future strategy for Hand Picked Hotels.
- This role will part of the Senior Leadership Team reporting to the Group Food and Beverage Director.
About you:
- To be considered for this role of Food and Beverage Projects Manager it is essential you have current Food and Beverage Management experience including pre-opening or concept delivery in a 5 star hotel environment within the UK.
- You must be able to demonstrate previous project management and concept creation and delivery experience.
- Be able to coach, train and motivate a team including Head of Departments ensuring they achieve and deliver the concept to the standards required by Hand Picked Hotels.
- You will be an excellent communicator and be able to influence others ensuring all parties reach the same goals and objectives required within a timely manner.
- It is essential you are commercially driven and have an excellent understanding of managing budgets, Procurement and dealing with suppliers.
