We now have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join the team in Leeds, to ensure management of and compliance with all service works and of all systems, across a large customer base within your region, and to assist the Directors, Account Managers, and Operation Managers in delivering exceptional performance and excellent customer service.

Main duties:
- Provide leadership and direction to the operational team on all technical disciplines. Being responsible for giving direction, removing obstacles, and equipping team members with skills, knowledge and experience to provide excellent customer service in line with SLAs and reach their full potential within the organisation.
- Project manage installations of security systems within the specified region through the effective management of others.
- Carry out field-based mentoring and training for all engineering staff in line with their training and development plan to ensure every team member is equipped to meet current and future business needs. This will include succession planning and recruitment.
- Provide the first escalation point from the engineers, in and out of core working hours.
- Project meetings, one with sales to take the project and agree costings, secondly with engineering team to deliver.
- Manage the project process, including customer and engineer communication throughout, with all additional recorded and signed for.
- Provide effective communication in all media, at all levels, both internally and externally to ensure SLAs are met and information is available where and when needed within remit.
- Working within a team providing coverage of customer database as required.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all British Standards in relation to job activities and ensure training and certificate is up to date all times.
Required experience:
- A minimum of 10 years technical/industrial experience in an engineering role
- Previous 4 years’ experience within a senior/project management position
- Proven track record in the security industry
Required skills and attributes:
- Extensive knowledge of CASH
- SSSTS Site Safety Supervisor Health and Safety Award
- SMSTS – Site Management Safety Award
- Computer literate (including Microsoft Office)
- Excellent problem solving ability
- Strong communication skills in all media, both internally and externally
Required licence or certification:
- A full, clean driving licence is essential
