EQUANS are recruiting for a Project Manager to be based in Manchester. This is a 6 months FTC role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary dependant upon skills and experience.
What will you deliver?
Delivery of a variety of project work opportunities from within the TFM contract
Consult with key clients and their stakeholders on project requirements and explain feasibility of their schemes to become a trusted advisor.
Work with the client to clearly define their brief and develop and agree their Employers Requirements.
Work with consultants, specialists, designers, and sub-contractors (as required) to define and document clear and concise scope(s) of work(s) under an Activity Schedule.
Develop and understand the full scope of works in line with the desired project outcomes and business case. This is to be within agreed budget requirements, risk profile, and satisfy business objectives in terms of profitability.
Work with commercial colleagues in collaboration in ensuring detailed and compliant tender process, outcomes and presentations are in place for their onward governance.
Work within the current CDM regulations, taking on the role of client representative, ensuring appropriate appointments are made and management of PC & PD to ensure they are discharging appropriate duties.
Identify, reduce, and manage all statutory and commercial risks associated with the project they are leading.
Ensure EQUANS SHEQ practices and processes are fully embedded within development and delivery of each project. Ensuring Management Safety Visits are conducted to agreed levels
Ensure full compliance with EQUANS policies and procedures.
Production and management of the project programme, ensuring any compliance to agreed timescales and identification and management of slippage and risks
Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s) “end to end.” Taking the lead and being accountable to drive the project through to successful completion, including affective management through resources and support functions available.
Work closely with relevant stake holders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s).
Show flexibility and innovation in project solutions throughout the project lifecycle, deconflicting and de-risking delivery where required to offer best possible quality to the client and stakeholders.
Ensure customer acceptance is adhered to, in writing and in line with the project plans.
Mutually agree payment schedules and applications for payment to the benefit of the project and the business.
Ensures project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored.
Provide weekly updates via project management system on progress, status, and financial information
Ensure project completion process is adhered too in its entirety form point of PC through to end of defects. Ensuring asset information is collated and agreed, end product is maintainable and handed to BAU function for affective onward maintenance.

Who are we looking for?
Minimum of 2 years proven Project Management experience in an M&E, FM, construction, or critical environment
End to end project management experience being responsible for development through to completion.
Understanding of industry methodologies e.g., Prince 2, MAPM, RIBA etc
CDM awareness
Recognised technical qualification (or considerable experience 5years >) in management, construction, M or E or similar.
Business standard of written and verbal literacy and numeracy.
