Regulatory & Cross Product Operations (RCP) is a global division within Deutsche Bank responsible for monitoring that reportable transaction messages are sent in the timeframes required and the submitted trade information correctly reflects that which was executed and is present in Deutsche Bank’s books & records.
The QA team comprises of 8 team members located in Bangalore and Birmingham, responsible for performing quarterly QA testing, CAT (Completeness, Accuracy & Timeliness) of each live Jurisdiction (>20) managed by the global team ensuring that each value reflected in the booking systems is represented as expected at the Trade Repository / Regulators view.
You will be expected to familiarise yourself with the in-scope jurisdictions and assist the team optimising QA through automation of test scenarios and achieve our goal in 2023 of removing the manual effort of testing, enabling increased test volumes and with the ability to execute on demand. Advanced excel skills are required to take the test logic and transform into a formula to allow automation of each tested attribute. You will develop a great understanding of regulatory rules, systems, products, and submission process whilst building relationships across a diverse range of groups.

Your key responsibilities
Develop a thorough understanding of RCP Operations Jurisdictional coverage, architecture, and existing controls. Become a Subject Matter Expert of the QA repeatable processes for multiple jurisdictions including European Market Infrastructure Regulation, Dodd Frank Act, Markets in Financial Instruments Derivative
Partner with QA colleagues to take agreed test logic and write up into excel formulas to be applied and utilised for each in scope attribute
Assist with the automation of over 20 independent processes, building test scenarios based on understanding of business requirements & key risk areas, with aim to test reporting is accurate to Deutsche Bank’s books and records
Develop relationships with key business & operational contacts for each asset class to ensure unknown data mapping concerns are raised, remediated, and incorporated into future QA Cycles
Your skills and experience
An analytical/logical mind-set with a good approach to problem solving
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify anomalies/deficiencies and design solutions to mitigate these
Advanced Excel Skills, knowledge of macros, beneficial
Ability to effectively maintain, coordinate, prioritise multiple tasks
Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
Understanding of principals of Regulatory Reporting
